1What is the eligibility criteria for Course entrance?

Students must normally be 18 years of age or above and demonstrate a sound capacity to commit to the course requirements. 

2Is the course accredited by an authorised body?

No. The course is not accredited by a validating body.

3Will classes be held in-person?

Yes, classes will be held on site at Ilim College Dallas Campus auditorium. There will, however, be an online component in term 3.

4I am a full time University student. Will my study load allow me to commit to the courses?

Yes. The courses are designed to cater for full-time students and employees.

5Can I pay in installments?

Yes. Please enquire with our accounts team via [email protected] for a tailored payment plan.

6What is the language of instruction?

All classes will be taught in English.

7Does MMS provide scholarships?

Yes. Please view the Tuition and Aid section for details.

8What are the hours of the Melbourne Muslim Seminary?

Class hours are from 6pm - 9pm, Monday-Thursday. 

Admin hours are 9am-4pm, Monday-Friday.

9Is the Melbourne Muslim Seminary tied to a specific organisation?

Yes. The Melbourne Muslim Seminary is currently a sub-entity of Ilim College. Through MMS, Ilim College offers a platform for staff to solidify their foundational knowledge of Islam to enhance their teaching capacity. As per the Strategic Plan, MMS seeks to become an independent and accredited organisation before 2026.

10Are classes co-ed?

Yes. Classes are co-ed.
