Academic Background

Ustadhah Ghada completed a Degree in the Sciences of Tajweed from Tarteel Institute and received her Ijazah in the recitation of the Holy Qur’ān following the Qira’at of Hafs from Imam Aasim from the path of Shatibiyyah. 

 

She has been teaching at a local Islamic College in the areas of Arabic and Islamic Studies since 2005, and Qur’ān, since 2009. Ustadha Ghada has been teaching the Science of Tajweed at Tarteel Institute in Melbourne since 2012 and continues to assist students of all ages in their perfection and development of Qur’ānic recitation in private classes. She has been a part of judging panels for various Qur’ān competitions including the Dawn Australian International Quranic Competition. 


As a believer of constant learning, Ustadhah Ghada is currently continuing her studies of the Qur’ān through various courses such as the Sciences of the Qur’aan and Annahu (Grammar in the Qur’ānic Context) with the Tarteel Institute and attends Hifz & Tafseer classes. She has also completed several professional development courses and workshops run by scholars such as Dr Jamilah Khalaf, Dr Mahmoud Hussein and Ustazah Rima Snobar.
