His late father, Maulana Gul Saeed Shah, was a respected Aalim and Imam. After earning a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Information Systems from Monash University, he dedicated himself to Islamic studies at Darul Ulum Melbourne, where he completed the six-year Aalim course in 2009 under the guidance of his father. During this time, he also obtained a Master\u2019s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).<\/p><p data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"885\">He later pursued advanced Islamic scholarship, completing the Mufti course with Al-Balagh Academy (UK), specializing in the issuance of fatwas within both the Hanafi and Hanbali madhhabs. Currently, he continues to deepen his expertise in the Hanbali madhhab under the mentorship of Shaykh Dr. Faris bin Falih al-Khazraji, originally from Mosul, Iraq, and now based in Konya, Turkey.<\/p><p data-start=\"887\" data-end=\"1411\">Mufti Khalid is dedicated to the revival and expansion of classical Islamic education in Australia, particularly through the establishment of maktabs and madrasas. He is the founder and principal of Kashiful Uloom, where he teaches daily, and serves as the Imam and Khatib at UMMA Centre in Doncaster East, overseeing its maktab and leading adult classes.
