Our Story
Founded in 2021, the Melbourne Muslim Seminary (MMS) was established to meet the evolving educational needs of the Muslim community. Through our flagship Muslim Essentials program, we provide a deep and meaningful study of Islam’s core sciences, equipping students to engage with their faith with confidence and clarity.
Rooted in both Western and Islamic scholarship, our diverse faculty brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, ensuring a learning experience that is both rigorous and relevant. At MMS, we celebrate the rich traditions and perspectives that shape our community, fostering strength and resilience through education.

Being part of Muslim Essentials has been a huge blessing and opportunity this year. Each class has improved and broadened my understanding of the deen (and shown us how much more there is to learn!) There is a beautiful sense of suhba amongst the students and teachers at MMS, cultivating a comfortable and spiritually uplifting learning environment.

This holistic experience empowered me to meaningfully contribute to humanity through both personal and professional development.
